DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and manages commercial department.
- Actively pursue new client acquisition
- Recruits and trains qualified sales associates; continually supports and motivates commercial team.
- Manages the daily activities of commercial associates; oversees productivity of team and customer satisfaction.
- Develops and manages and support programs to ensure achievement of annual objectives.
- Continually gathers and monitors information on progressive projects the team is working on and communicates information to others as needed.
- Oversees preparation of bids and proposals and participates in presentations as needed.
- Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to commercial sales associates.
- Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of Construction industry product and sales information.
- Attends and participates in business/trade events as required.
- Foster client relationships through social engagement outside of regular meetings
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises employees within the commercial sales department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and reporting when disciplinary action is needed to HR, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two to four year’s related experience.
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
- Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in navigating Construction bid sites
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills.
